"And we haven't seen DDT yet, so it's unfair to judge them now, imo. " Im not judging what they will do/not do in the future, but rather am noting what they have done till now. Changing the teams name and claiming to be the new Gold in town doesnt bode well with me. Im simply noting that there are many people who have not forgotten the past and arent blinded by hollow claims. I try to give the other side of a story so people can find a medium ground.

Regarding anime ive seen and thoroughly enjoyed nearly everything you mentioned, and would advise you to watch both Outlaw Star and Full Metal Alchemist (in case you missed it!).

As to why I'm pretty harsh towards former blight.usa, its mainly cause I dont appreciate when newcomers to the scene get too full of themselves and start bashing the elites of the game who've been the foundation of competitive dota for years now. Even if you have potential the most important thing is to show respect and be humble and know your place.

After i had been unimpressed with Mikey's play for numerous months and got into arguments with him a few times, I saw beyond a reasonable doubt that he was both ignorant (especially regarding monumental things in the dota world that had transpired- look at my posts of the week to see an example of him not knowing of 2008's ESWC in San Jose) and blindly arrogant. Therefore I decided that the only team i considered worthy of discussion from my countries scene was EG and their humble and legendary players in Fear, Merlini, and Demon. All of them have been professional, respectful, and have achieved major results recognized even by the Asians. Hence to think of Mikey in the same sentence as them would be close to Blasphemy in the dota world.

I have no qualms with the rest of the ex-players, but my dislike of Mikey will be hard to get rid off, and for many of his other haters i doubt they will ever change their minds.
