Blizzard is hard at work once again trying to get new content up to keep the game fresh for those of us who have been playing the game since release. This time we have of all things, a fishing competition! To get everyone to compete the event is being held in Stranglethorn Vale. It is called "The Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza!"
While you can't log on at the moment and try this out, the new content will be avalible in the next patch. Much like a lot of their mini games of sorts, a friendly goblin will walk into both Orgimmar to inform the Horde and Ironforge to inform the Alliance of the coming event and give instructions. Then when the appropriate time comes, a shout will come over STV and you will be instructed to cast out your lines!
Blizzard seems to be packing on the content a bit more than usual, and a good amount of it seems to in Stranglethorn Vale. I feel a bit worried for those who are playing on a PvP server who might easily get ganked while trying to be a part of the event. Once the patch goes live GosuGamers will make sure to be there and give you an in depth look into this fresh new content in the ever changing World of WarCraft. Warm up those fishing lines folks, looks like there is a new use for them!
