Some time ago the British Zerg MidiaN played a Face 2 Face match against Strafe, from the Netherlands. It was an even match, but MidiaN managed to win the game series with the total score of 3-2.
Clan mates
Both players are proud members of the very well known clan Templars of Twilight, which has members from all over Europe. ToT is by a lot of people considered the best clan outside Korea. In matches against other top teams they have won, but not dominating totally in every fight. One thing is definitely sure – they are really, really good.

After a game on Gaema Gowon, where MidiaN made several drops and finally finished Strafe with an Ultra/Ling force, the Dutch Protoss wanted to play Hall of Valhalla. An island map in PvZ usally means a toss victory, and this time was no different. Strafe also managed to win the third game on Nostalgia before MidiaN eventually could win the last two games on XenoSky and Plains To Hill.
Not the only ones
MidiaN and Strafe are not the only ones who have played F2F matches. The Norweigan Random player Eriador[pG] won four straight games versus the Australian pro gamer Legionnaire before the Aussie could win the last game in their series.
What's new at F2F?
Well F2F has news that fall short of Fantastic! They have now two new members. Who? Manifesto7 will now be in charge of making sure all the good games at F2F are made into RWAs. Want an idea? Why not add shoutcast to it? The other great addition will be the addition of Clawson who will be posting the Battle reports and raising the level of insight. So they found themselves a gosu WCG player and a gosu RWA maker, and we hope for a future WCG announcer, to comment their games.
Ok yes, we admit it. Here at KotH we feel the pressure. Great job F2F!
