I was talking with CDS)Jump because he was already playing and I was sad because I don't know if I'll be able to play it. Then I opened my e-mail and there it was.

I was so excited and started downloading BETA asap. Just now I have about 15% Completed. It's slow but it won't be so bad because I won't be at home now. Going to snowboarding for some hours so I don't know if I will enjoy it

When I will be back I hope download will be finished and I will be able to play my first game of SC2 ever and provide you some information.

Finally I'm back from Snowboarding and finished install of StarCraft 2 BETA.

Just run it for first time and I must say Battle.net looks so good. I need some more time to play my first game but it will be soon. Aproximately 15-30 minutes. Then I will make some other conclusion ;).

Ok so I finally played some games. I must say new Battle.net is awesome. As poGDI already said in his blog theres fast search of games. You will choose only your race and type of game you want (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4). Bad thing you don't know vs. who you are playing and on which map until you are in game. Chat is very good too. And now to games.

I still have very bad info about which unit I can use against others. My stats are 2-1. I won 2x TvT only with Siege tanks and Vikings and lost TvZ because I don't have a single Marauder against Roaches. Other bad thing SC2 have different Hot Keys so if you are playing both you can be confused a little.

About system requirements.
I have this:
Procesor: AMD Athlon 3500+
RAM: 3,5 GB
Graphics: GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB
OS: Windows XP SP3

And I was running first game on 1280*1024 with High details. It was lagy only when there was too many units as SCVs mining etc. So I switched to Medium and it's absolutely OK running without HW lags. Later I will try provide some info about FPS on every resolution and Details with my configuration. But tomorrow I won't be here because we have a small LAN Party with friends so I will try to make it asap.

2v2 Games

So me and ReiKo played some 2v2 games and it's so good when you are using in game microphone via new Battle.net. Only problem is it's not so loud so if you are in a battle you can't hear your ally good even if you have Output and Input volume on MAX. Only choice is take down music and sound volume but I think this should be fixed if we will take a look at it for some time. We didn't want to study it more because we want to play. And we won 3 2v2 with 1 loss only because there was lag so I left and it was counted as loss.
