Hello guys,
The decision I’m about to address has been both expected and unexpected to me. For those who don’t know me, I have been moderating this site for the past two months. I have got to know some of you and had many nice moments in my work! I was one of the first mods to bring down the banhammer, and heck, it worked very well. I’m very happy to see that people are starting to behave more civilized, while we - the Crew – try to stay as objective as possible.
I have lost my view of DotA as a serious interest after lots of frustration and problems in real life: namely, for not having made it into a team nor creating one, having a crappy PC/Internet and most importantly, due to problems in real life with my family. This affected my passion for the game in the long term, and I can only leave the game, cold turkey. I will no longer try have anything to do with the game I love until get things get on track for me.
I know this would deeply affect my duties as a moderator in this site, because I would be reading all the news and comments, checking the daily replays and stuff, and that would surely be a big pain in my heart. So, today, I am announcing my indefinite leave from DotA (I know it sounds like a joke… no comment - who is this guy anyway?) and my resign from my moderator post. I had very big dreams for my “dream team” – the clan that I still hever had, but I can only kill put them to sleep now. I know that my friends and I will manage someday to form it and prosper!
Regarding my problems, they will be solved as soon as I get a new computer, a good connection, and a new apartment to live in (possibly with a friend), which will take some time. I will start working for the Dept. of Justice (administrative part) since April and start studying Psychology since this month, and we’ll see what happens from this time on.
I am grateful to the people I have met in this site, and especially to Zeyall for entitling me in this charge. I am also sorry that the journey has been put to stop so soon…
Shoutouts go to all the crew – I’m sorry for not having met you all, to the community… I will be very satisfied to know that I helped this site to be a better site, and especially to McBat, Shane- and Ch1ef, the guys I’ve talked with more often, I really like you.
I will be back to you someday, I promise. Much love and goodbye for now,
