Hello good people! This is Caissa here. Welcome to the 2nd installment of my "Song of the week".

I have been inactive this last week due to computer problems (computer freezing, cursor disappearing, 800x600 max. resolution, reboots out of nowhere, and so on and so forth), so I had to make a fresh reinstall of all my stuff. Now everything is working as it should.

As I couldn't share with you my "Song of the week" last week, I've decided to make this a double issue! The songs are Yael Naim - Yashanti and Vargo - The Moment. I hope you like them! Yael's got a superb voice, and I'm lovin' that jazzy mood. The other song is just pure bliss, amazing guitar melodies and good filters...

These issues have been mostly about quiet songs, related to the genres of chill-out, IDM, jazz, nonetheless I'll try to cover every genre possible.

I'm always open to any suggestions, so if you have one please share it!

Yael Naim - Yashanti

Vargo - The Moment

Yael Naïm (Hebrew: יעל נעים‎), is a Franco-Israeli singer-songwriter of French-Tunisian parents. She rose to fame in 2008 in the US after her hit single "New Soul" was used by Apple in an advertising campaign for its MacBook Air. The success of this song made her the first Israeli solo artist to have a top ten hit in the United States.

Vargo is an electronic music project composed of producer Ansgar Üffink and vocalist Stephanie Hundertmark. The success of Vargo's 2001 single "Get Back to Serenity", released on several compilations, enabled the duo to produce their 2004 album, Beauty.
Vargo is associated with the Café del Mar, and was the first German act to be included in its compilations. Vargo's music has been included on over 50 compilations.

Well its pretty pimp to have a hebrew song up for the song of the week, but sadly even though the music might be tolerable for my occasional smoking session the lyrics dont cut it for me (probably because i understand them..)
The 2nd song was pretty relaxing, and it does just beg for a beach visit!!

Gj overall and glad to have you back again

Nice songs! But I prefer less sophisticated music, enables me to relax, this music makes me think and I want to be mindless atm :D
