The original score of the third installment of Blizzard's hack-n-slash will compete for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards on November 15 in a category of a total of ten nominees.
Composed by Russell Brower, Derek Duke, Glenn Stafford, Joseph Lawrence , Neal Acree, Laurence Juber and Edo Guidotti, Diablo3's score will compete with a plethora of other games such as Mass Effect 3, Kingdoms of Amalur, Darksiders 2 and Skyrim.
Should Diablo 3 win, this will be the second prize for the audio team this autumn after earlier this month they were awarded the GDC Online "Best Audio" award.
The event itself is scheduled for mid-November and until then how about queuing said soundtrack.
