Gambit returns and ROCCAT chooses a strange role model

Gambit defeats Millenium so convincingly that Darien is able to build manamune on Aatrox.  Meanwhile, ROCCAT lose their second game in a row after picking the cursed Leblanc top.

Despite Millenium's recent success, this game was one-sided.  Gambit were likely using their week off to practice without Edward, as they seemed impervious to Araneae's ganks, and conversely, every enemy Diamond touched turned to gold.

All the while, the prominent Gambit bottom lane began winning on its own, despite Creaton and Jree being the one lane for Millenium sporting conventional picks.  As usual, however, Kev1n seemed to be the reliable member of Millenium, picking up the first tower in top lane and breaking even in farm with Darien.  Unfortunately, his Elise pickup did not scale well into late game and could not turn the tides for Millenium on its own.

Gambit lead the game by enough farm and dragon gold that Darien was able to purchase a Manamune on Aatrox as they dove their way to victory.

Picking up top lane Leblanc appears to be the curse of number one EU LCS teams that lose their winning streaks.  Though ROCCAT anticipated the laneswap and were able to send Xaxus bottom, they could do nothing about the pressure the Wolves decided to apply to snowball Frog1ven and Unlimited's lane in return.  The Wolves managed to amass a large lead for YoungBuck as well with roaming from cowTard that gave the team the first dragon of the game.

With a team that scaled much better into late game, a four thousand gold lead at twelve minutes sealed the deal for the CHW.  Though Jankos did his best to reset lanes, Amazing seemed to always be able to respond with a counter gank on his Nocturne.  Seeing ROCCAT losing their second game in a row, one can only hope they don't follow in Fnatic's footsteps for the next six.
