The hype video comes to remind the StarCraft 2 audience that there're five weeks to go before Red Bull's second Battle Grounds tournament, to be held November 23 & 24 in the historic Hammerstein Ballroom.
Red Bull Battle Grounds New York was announced on August 27th and with it came the whopping prize pool of $50,000, the largest in the history of Red Bull StarCraft 2 competitions.
Unlike the previous Battlegrounds even held in May 2012 in Austin where 16 players fought for $41,000, the player pool for the New York is cut down to just eight but the names of the first four invites were enough to spark a major interest in the tournament. Austin's champion MC and runner-up Bomber came as two of the heaviest hitters on the list. Next to them stood the Red Bull Training Grounds #2 and HomeStory Cup VI champion Snute of Team Liquid as well as Training Grounds #1 winner Golden of StarTale.
The remaining four players are to be announced next week and to ease the wait Red Bull have released the official trailer of the New York Battle Grounds. Along with it, our coverage hub has also gone live and we'll continue to update it with every new piece of coverage.
