The field of seeded competitiors covers most of the familiar names of CIS Dota, as Team Empire, Virtus.Pro, RoX.KiS, Poseidon, Ahead(former Next.Kz), Power Rangers and Cascade will all look to represent the region, filling that void of a CIS favourite after defending two-time champions Na`Vi announced that they had dropped out of the competition last week.
Representing Western Europe, we'll have Danish Team Life as the only team which received a straight seed into the competition. They have been joined by the likes of Super Strong Dinosaurs, One, youBoat, 3DMax, Team Menace and other challengers, who will be pushed to their limit over the course of the two day affair, which will finish tomorrow.
The format of the competition is best-of-three throughout, with the two best teams of the competition earning their spots for the LAN Finals in Paris, France, which will kick off on October 30th. Additionally the first place team gains a sponsorship from Dailymotion for this event, which includes travel and accomodation for the event.
The qualifiers will be casted by Toby 'TobiWan' Dawson over at the Dailymotion ESWC Channel in English. Casts in other languages are also available, with StarLadder handling the Russian language coverage and FroggedTV casting in French.
