2-0 galore in WPC-ACE League playtime #1. DK vs VG must watch

The first playtime of WPC-ACE League has ended and to much surprise, none of the matches tied creating a separation between the first placer to fifth and sixth placer to tenth. Playtime #2 will begin tomorrow with DK taking on LGD.cn to start.

Playtime recap:

The highlight match of the playtime is without a doubt the grudge match between  DK and Vici Gaming. Besides being the match to kick off WPC-ACE League, both teams put on a show and really went back and forth throughout the entire series, displaying some great skills and at times, communication errors from being a relatively new team. At the end of the day, DK did not disappoint their fans' branches and came back from what seems to be a lost cause in game one (above).

Another highly anticipated match of this playtime is between Sina Cup winner Invictus Gaming and LGD.Int. Things quickly fell apart for LGD.Int in the first game after they lost all their trilane heroes twice in 5 minutes. The second game was a little closer in the early phase of the game but iG started pulling ahead in mid-game due to the general "tanky-ness" of their heroes while Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier's Spectre constantly got picked off.

RisingStars pulled off one of the fastest win in the history of Chinese Dota 2, outdrafting and defeating amateur team Cupid's Heart in 12 minutes on the first game. Cupid's Heart bounced back in game two and gained a significant kill lead against the star-studded team but failed to retain their advantage later on. RisingStars' experience and blazing quick pushing line-up was more than enough to secure them the 2-0 win.

TongFu on the other hand, were not in their best shape in their opening WPC-ACE League game against LGD.cn. Fresh off their third placing finish in Sina Cup, LGD.cn came out all guns blazing and took down Yao 'Zhou' Chen and co. in two relatively simple games. Despite having a huge gold and experience lead from the get-go, LGD.cn reverted to their traditional super safe game plan and dragged the games to 40 minutes before finishing TongFu off.

The most one-sided match-up award for playtime #1 will go to Rattlesnake and WPC qualified team, Team Adidas. Team Adidas seems out of focus earlier today and lost extremely badly to Rattlesnake who is in fact, currently in a swamp. From the sloppy battle initiation and Spirit Breaker cancelling his teleport off an allied Rubick stolen sleep, Rattlesnake players  gained the easiest 3 points of their lives.
