FlashTrue to their "dream team" status, TBLS came in crushing and took home a 3-0 victory against the all-zerg line-up of YGS. Stork opened with a powerful air toss against Odin and paved the victorious way for Jaedong and Flash, who played a classic BroodWar-esque ling/muta ZvZ and the signature bio-mine TvZ, respectively.
Effort took the first set in the match between C4 and Masters but this lead did not last too long: In the second game, JYP opened Oracles and perfectly deflected Bravo's Hellbat drops to tie the score.
Set three was again a short one as Bbyong's Bio/Tank contain overpowered BeSt's Immortals, giving team Masters the lead. With a 2-1 in their pocket, Masters sent forth TRUE to battle C4's hero[join] and it was the first time this series that the game entered a late stage. Like Stork, hero[join] aimed to abuse the power of Void Rays and Tempests but found himself in a horrible position as many Abducts came flying, pulling his precious units into Hydra swarms. As herO called the GG, Masters advanced to the semi-finals.
