After a few months of absence WGTour Clan League is going to be back! One of the oldest and most prestigious Clan Leagues is set to begin October 4th, 2009.
As most of you know, WGT Admins decided to take a break from their standard Clan League some time ago and launched a new project: the Titans League. Some people were afraid that the old version will never come back. Now it turned out they were wrong. A couple of days ago WGT has announced that the good old Clan League returns.
However, there are some things that have not been resolved yet. It is not known how the structure of divisions will look like. Administration of WGT said that there are two options. The first assumes that the first division will last as the Titans League and teams from the second divisions will be able to join it. Choosing the second option which the Organizers are considering means the return to old practices, and thus the end of the Titans League.
The new season will also bring some changes. First, there will be no fourth division anymore. The reason for this are mainly the problems posed by the "new" teams. There will be also changes of the rules. It is likely that they will be adapted from the Titans League and that means more restrictions but also better and smoother organization of the League.
We can expect more information and decisions at the end of September. Till then we have to stay tuned for another rousing season of WGTour Clan League.
