CS:GO Shuffles: xccurate moves from CS:GO to VALORANT

GamerLegion adds members and Evil Geniuses renames auxiliary teams.

With the ESL Pro League actively running and the IEM Rio Major RMR events a few weeks away, you would think that the teams are pretty set with their roster at this point of the year. In fact, many teams are shuffling around members and organizing roster updates to strengthen their line-up as the CS:GO season moves into the fourth quarter of 2022.

Team GamerLegion

The German team has announced three new additions to their CS:GO roster for this year. Danish CS:GO AWPer Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand, young Polish in-game leader Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek, and Belgian rifler Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus have sign on board with the team to complete the line-up after the roster was cut down in June this year.

While the three have just signed on officially, they have, in fact, been playing with the team since earlier this year, being a part of the team that qualified for the upcoming IEM Rio Major RMR for Europe. Before playing with GamerLegion, acoR was playing with MOUZ and MAD Lions before that. Siuhy, meanwhile, was with the academy team MOUZ NXT and Izako Bears. Keoz played for Team Falcons for a short time and was with Team LDLC previously.

The roster will be playing in the upcoming IEM Rio Major Europe RMR in October in Group A.

While no new signings were announced by Evil Geniuses, they have made the decision to rename their auxiliary teams to avoid confusion. The mainline team will keep the Evil Geniuses name, but the two secondary teams will be renamed. The former EG.CD will now be known as EG Black, while the EG.PA team will be renamed EG White according to a report from dust2.us.

EG Black is composed of Colby “Walco” Walsh, Jerric “wiz” Jiang, Connor “chop” Sullivan, William “RUSH” Wierzba, and Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz. EG White, on the other hand, features Ben “ben1337” Smith, Jonathan “Jonji” Carey, Josh “PwnAlone” Pigue, Wesley “viz” Harris, and Jonathan “djay” Dallal.

EG Black is currently playing at the ESL Challenger League North America season 42 in Group B and EG White will be playing at the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown and Flow FiReLEAGUE Global Finals.

Xccurate

Kevin “xccurate” Susanto has announced on social media that he will be retiring from CS:GO and will play VALORANT, following in his brother, Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto, footsteps. F0rsaken is currently playing with Paper Rex. The team has been seeing success regionally and internationally, last seen playing at VALORANT Champions.

Xccurate previously played for Jakarta Juggernauts before moving onto notable East Asian teams including TYLOO and Team NKT, who he competed with in two Major championships. He has been playing in competitive CS:GO from a very young age – starting when he was 13 years only in 2017.

No hints of which team he will join up for VALORANT - he could join Paper Rex to be with his brother.
