Immortals puts fnx up for transfer

Immortals have opened their doors to transfer offers for Lincoln "fnx" Lau.

Vito "kNg" Giuseppe will officially be replacing Lincoln "FNX" Lau as of last night, according to Immortals' Twitter.

The announcement comes two days after kNg was made a permenant player on IMT's roster. The acquisition seems to be directly due to kNg's performance in recent tournaments, specifically PGL Major Karkow 2017, where the team fell to Gambit Gaming 1:2. It is the largest prize pool Immortals has claimed to date at $150,000.

kNg began trialling for Immortals in late May, a week after the team announced that FNX was benched due to "internal issues." Immortals had seen first-place wins at EsportsArena Santa Ana Showdown Championship and a second place finish at DreamHack Austin.

"FNX is an unparalleled talent in CS:GO and we want to take this opportunity to thank him for the time, energy and effort he put into helping Immortals reach new heights," Immortals said in a statement on their website. "We fully expect to see more of FNX in the future and wish our Brazilian brother-in-arms the best as he moves onto the next chapter in his career."

KNG's first win with Immortals came a few days after the announcement of his trial, with a 9-10th place finish in ESL Pro League Season 5. Since then, the team placed second in the Americas Minor Championship Kraków and third-fourth in DreamHack Summer 2017.
