Following the conclusion of the offline qualifier for the PGL Major Kraków 2017, the remaining eight challenger teams have been decided.
Sunday saw the conclusion of the offline qualifier for the PGL Major Kraków 2017, where the final eight "Challenger" teams to participate at the LAN finals of the Major were determined. Teams that attained three best-of-one victories at the qualifier secured placements, whilst the other eight participants had to take the hit and hitch a ride home.
The roster European mix of mousesports and Frenchmen from G2 Esports took the highroad to the LAN finals, as both teams managed to secure a flawless match record throughout the four days. At one loss each are the European, American and German rosters of PENTA, Cloud9 and BIG. Finalising the list are three teams that managed to pull through right at the very end, faced with a potential exit from the qualifier. Two CIS representatives in Vega Squadron and FlipSid3 Tactics managed to make it through, joined by the Brazilian roster of Immortals. All of these success stories unfortunately have a second side to them, as the winner of each match-up was sole, with the losing teams departure with nought in their hands.
Below are the final standings for all sixteen teams that participated at the offline qualifier:
