DreamHack Valencia 2017 - Closed qualifier invites announced

DreamHack have announced the eight teams invited to participate at the closed qualifier for the LAN finals in Valencia, Spain.

With less than three weeks left till the commencement of DreamHack Valencia 2017, the organisers have announced direct invitees to the closed qualifier for the event, held in Valencia, Spain on July 14th-16th. Over the course of the three days eight teams from the Americas and Europe will clash, in a bid to secure the Champions' glory, as well as the better part of a whopping $100,000 prize pool. 

Below are all six confirmed participants of the LAN finals:

Two open qualifiers for the event will be taking place to determine four teams per region to join the invited teams in the closed qualifier. This brings the total participants count of each closed qualifier to eight, with but a single team from the European and North American region advancing to face the six teams directly invited to the LAN finals.

Formatting for the LAN finals, as per previous DreamHack Open events, will see a best-of-one group stage with double-elimination, best-of-three eliminations and decider matches. Play-offs will exclusively see single-elimination, best-of-one match-ups.
