The Brazilian beasts crush Fnatic on their home soil and lift the DreamHack Summer 2017 trophy.

The first map of the grand finals series kicked off with SK on the CT side and Fnatic on the T side. SK took the early advantage on the map, as they won the pistol round and the following four rounds. Fnatic managed to pick up the sixth round but it wasn't followed up, even though they seemed poised to take it. Just as Fnatic successfully pushed into the A site and started to plant the bomb at Default, Epitacio "TACO" de Melo peeked out from Pit and prevented the plant by killing the bomb planter. Though the kill was traded immediately by Fnatic, due to them running down the clock too much before committing to a site, Fnatic didn't have enough time to plant the bomb again, giving another round to SK. But they bounced back in the subsequent round and ended the half with 8:7 score in favour of the Brazilians.
The second half started with SK, again, taking the pistol. Fnatic just could not defend the site against the beastly SK players. With the score at 12:7, Fnatic seemed like they had a chance of coming back into the map. However, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo completely demolished Fnatic and their spirit with an insane 1v3 post-plant clutch, though when he had extremely low health. In the following round, Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer were able to bounce back with sick four AWP kills but that was all the glimmer of hope the Swedes would show. SK Gaming shook off the previous round loss immediately and closed out Inferno with 16:8 victory.
de_Overpass - 4:16 (2:13, 2:3)
Now on SK's map of choice, the grand finals looked like it was about to end with a clean 2-0 sweep by SK Gaming. However, Fnatic weren't going to go down without a fight, for they picked up the pistol and more, bringing the score to 0:7 in favour of the Swedish side. Jesper "JW" Wecksell was putting big numbers for his team. Nothing was working for the Brazilian side, as all timing, clutches and frags went the way of Fnatic. Adding insult to injury, Robin "flusha" Ronnquist even climbed atop clueless Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and blew his head off with fashion. At the end of the half, SK had racked up only two rounds.
The second half kicked off with SK finally showing some life. They managed to get the pistol round and its subsequent round but their win streak was cut short due to Dennis "dennis" Edman valiantly rushing into the A site with two entry frags and setting up his team for a win. Thereafter, Fnatic didn't drop another round. The last two rounds all started in favour of SK Gaming, for they had player advantages by the mid round. But Fnatic consistently turned the tables on the Brazilian team and destroyed all their efforts, thus ending the second map with a dominant score of 16:4 and forcing another map in the best-of-three.
de_Mirage - 16:8 (8:7, 8:1)
The final map of the grand finals series and of DreamHack Summer 2017 kicked off in favour of SK Gaming, who were on the CT side. Even though Fnatic took the pistol round, thanks to heroic four kills by Dennis "dennis" Edman, they lost the following anti-eco. Thus, SK Gaming proceeded to lead the map with 6:1 score before Fnatic could strike back. The Swedes stepped up, getting two more rounds on the board. But SK Gaming denied it by winning the tenth round. At the brink of having his team's economy in shambles, Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer brought his A game, clutching a 1v3 and a 1v1 in the next two rounds. Afterwards, Fnatic were back into the grand finals series, as they ended the half with only one round deficit, 8:7.
The last half, however, was all too reminiscent of Inferno, as SK Gaming stretched their one round lead further with the pistol round win. All Fnatic could take was a single round before SK ripped them apart. Joao "felps" Vasconcellos controlled Mid like a superhuman, as he, from Window, denied Fnatic's attempt to take control of Mid round after round. Fnatic were never able to build an economy, for their economy was constantly wrecked. With the score at 13:8, it was a do or die moment for Fnatic. Somehow, Freddy "KRiMZ" Johansson found himself in a 1v2 against two T side SK players. But the SK guys played the post-plant situation perfectly, for one of them hid in B Apartments while the other was in Kitchen. From there, they pinched in the last remaining Fnatic player and prevented him for coming in clutch for his team. With no money to equip, Fnatic crumbled and weren't able to recover. Thereafter, SK Gaming crushed Fnatic in front of their home crowd and took the DreamHack Summer 2017 championship.
