SK Gaming have been announced as a confirmed participant at ESL One: New York 2017.
ESL have issued the Brazilian roster a direct invite to this year's edition of ESL One: New York. The team will be joining seven other contestants this autumn to battle it out for $250,000 in prize money. Host to the event will once again be the Brooklyn Barclays Centre, taking place on September 14th-17th. Formatting for the tournament has yet to be announced, much like its prize pool.
Something worth noting is that ESL One: New York 2017 will count towards teams' Intel Grand Slam records, whereby the first to reach four victories out of the past ten eligible events receives a $1,000,000 prize.

Last year's edition of ESL One: New York saw SK Gaming finish in 3rd-4th place, pocketing $25,000. The roster experienced difficulties against Virtus.pro in the quarter-finals, where the teams clashed in a series that saw two overtimes, followed by a strong performance from the latter listed team. Specifically the teams faced on de_Mirage, de_Overpass and de_Nuke, where SK Gaming won 19:16, followed by a 21:25 and 7:16 loss, respectively. Virtus.pro went on to face Natus Vincere in the grand final, where they fell to the CIS mix having played out all three maps.
