Method aquire former FMESPORTS team

The UK team will play under the Method banner in upcoming tournaments, such as the Gfinity Elite Series.

UK-based Method announced that they would be returning to the CS:GO scene after over a year absence, picking up the local FMESPORTS roster over the weekend. The move signifies the roster's push into the international scene, according to Method's website. They are confirmed to participate in the Gfinity Elite Series as well as ESEA Main, UK Masters and ESL UK Premiership.

As FMESPORTS, the team took first place in UK Masters Season 3, ESL UK Premiership Spring 2017 and Multiplay Insomnia 60. Most of the team has been together since 2016, with the most recent addition being Tom "jenko" Jeninson.

The new roster for Method is:
United Kingdom Brandon "weber" Weber
United Kingdom Neil "nEiLZiNHo" Finlay
United Kingdom Reece "Puls3" Marrs
United Kingdom Tom "jenko" Jenkinson
United Kingdom Tramaine "stan1ey" Stanley

"I am extremely motivated and excited to begin this journey with Method in the Gfinity Elite Series, as well as UK Masters, ESL UK and ESEA Main," said leader of the team Neil "nEiLZiNHo" Finlay. "I am certain that with the support and professionalism provided by the staff at Method we will be able to build upon our dominating year within the UK and make the push towards becoming more competitive in Europe."

In the announcement, Method mentioned prize pools for CS:GO surpassing League of Legend's in 2016, amounting to $17 million+ in that year alone, which was "almost triple what it was the previous year and second only to DotA 2."
