Binary Dragons victorious at Adria Masters

The Serbian roster of Binary Dragons saw success at the LAN finals of the Adria Masters, following a 2-0 map sweep against the Danish squad of Forcebuy. The teams clashed on de_Train and de_Cobblestone, of which both maps fell in favour of the Serbians. The initial map saw a swift 16:4 victory, followed by a more extensive 16:11 victory on Cobblestone. Binary Dragons subsequently secured a $3,000 cash prize, as well as the Champions' title of the event.

Space Soldiers secure first at GeForce Cup

Space Soldiers managed to secure a flawless run at GeForce Cup 2017, securing first place at the event, as well as $15,000 in prize funds. The Turkish roster demonstrated a phenomenal performance over the entirety of the cup, able to 2-0 sweep every single opponent that was in their way. After defeating The Imperial and The Gatekeepers in the quarter and semi-finals respectively, the Turks were set to face the Swedish roster of Red Reserve. The teams clashed on de_Cobblestone and de_Mirage, in chronological order, with both maps seeing absolute stomps from Space Soldiers. Cobble saw a rather brief 16:8, whilst Mirage was an absolute thrash at 16:1.

Niko "naSu" Kovanen to coach PENTA Sports

Niko "naSu" Kovanen, now ex-professional CS player, has opted to try out the coaching role, securing a deal with PENTA Sports. The twenty-six year-old Finn will be coaching the German roster of PENTA Sports at upcoming events. Kovanen is considered to be a fountain of knowledge when it comes to Counter-Strike, as he has been part of the professional scene since the early days of Counter-Strike 1.6, with his pro career commencing in a rather distant 2006.

DreamHack announce broadcasting talent for DreamHack Summer 2017 

With the LAN finals of DreamHack Summer 2017 less than a month away, the organisers have released a comprehensive list of broadcasting talent to be present at the event. Hosting the desk and interviewing the players will be the Brits - Alex "Machine" Richardson and Pala "Mantrousse" Gilroy Sen respectively. Analysing matches will be RoomOnFire co-founder and ex-Team Liquid player, Halvor "vENdetta" Gulestøl and Jacob "Pimp" Winneche. Last but not least the following four individuals will be commentating the matches: Vince "Metuz" Hill, Dustin "dusT" Mouret, Lauren "Pansy" Scott and Niels "rizc" Topp.

Tricked Esport roster parts ways with organisation

As of Friday, June 30th Tricked eSport will be saying goodbye to their CS:GO roster, as the two parties failed to come to mutual agreement regarding contracts. The team has expressed that they are interested in staying together, searching for a new organisation to represent, meanwhile Tricked eSport have also stated that the organisation is currently looking at teams to pick up to represent their colours.

Immortals trial Vito "kNg" Giuseppe

Following the benching of Lincoln "fnx" Lau, Immortals have been in search of a full-time replacement, with the team Coach, Rafael "zakk" Fernandes filling in for the meantime. Earlier this week Immortals announced that they will be trialling Vito "kNg" Giuseppe, formerly of Red Reserve. The Brazilian has a some history of playing with Lucas "steel" Lopes, particularly during the players' time on g3x.

Broadcasting talent announced for Americas Minor Championship

Less than two weeks left till the Americas Minor Championship LAN finals are left. In light of this PGL have released a full line-up of on-air talent to be present in Santa Ana at the Esports Arena. Hailing from the UK is James Duffield, a prominent Twitch.tv representative. Analysing matches will be two ex-pros in  Jason "moses" O'Toole and Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill. Culminating are the casting line-up in Anders Blume, Henry "HenryG" Greer and Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett.
