ECS announced the first Super Weekend which will feature four teams playing three series in front of live audience.
Esports Arena and FACEIT have teamed up to host three ECS Season 3 matches in Santa Ana, California. The first Super Weekend will last two days on May 27th-28th with SK Gaming, Counter Logic Gaming, Immortals and Luminosity Gaming playing a total of three best-of-two series. As the end of the regular season approaches, ECS aims to build hype by hosting the event which will take place at the Esports Arena, making ECS the second league to have regular season matches played on LAN after ELEAGUE.
With a limited amount of matches left to be played in ECS Season 3, Cloud9 lead the pack in North America. However, the records are close and every single team still has a chance at a top-4 finish that will qualify them for the ECS Season 3 Finals. Apart from the matches, fans will have the chance to attend signing sessions and meet their favourite players at Super Weekend. You can purchase tickets for Super Weekend via tixr.
ECS also announced the talent for its first Super Weekend. Keith "Seaside" LaFortune and Conner "Scrawny" Girvan will be casting the matches on FACEIT's YouTube channel.
