Denmark Heroic vs France EnVyUs0:2 (9:16, 12:16)

de_Train - 9:16 (6:9, 3:7)

The first map of Danish-French match-up started with Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer winning the pistol round in a 1v4 post-plant situation for EnVyUs. Despite a second round force-buy victory from Heroic, Happy stepped up once more and reset the Danish economy by clutching against three Heroic players. In the following rounds, Heroic's occasional round wins weren't enough to prevent EnVyUs from advancing their lead, at one point it was 7:3 in favour of the Boys in Blue. But in the latter rounds of the half, Heroic managed to close the gap to three rounds and determined the half-time score as 9:6. In the second half, playing as the CT side, Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom joined Happy and the duo, with the help of Alexandre "xms" Forté, won the map for EnVyUs with a 16:9 score line.

de_Nuke - 12:16 (5:10, 7:6)

Nuke would start the same as Train, with an EnVyUs dominance, but Andreas "MODDII" Fridh's 1v2 clutches kept Heroic in the map. It wasn't until the last four rounds of the first half when EnVyUs began to control the game. The same players were performing again for EnVyUs: Happy, ScreaM and xms. With three players delivering, EnVyUs found themselves leading 10:5 come halftime. Heroic's CT side was slightly better than their T side but EnVyUs didn't let the Danes come back and closed out the map 16:12 to secure six points in their campaign to avoid relegation matches. On the other hand, with two defeats, Heroic lost their hopes for a season finals appearance.

Poland Virtus.pro vs. France G21:1 (13:16, 16:10)

de_Nuke - 13:16 (3:12, 10:4)

Richard "shox" Papillon's triple-kill in the first pistol round opened the first map of the VP - G2 clash. Playing as the T side, G2 built on their pistol round victory fairly easily with their start contributing and dominated the whole half. As the teams were switching sides, the scoreboard was signalling a heavy G2 lead, 13:2. VP began the second half by winning the pistol round and back-to-back victories saw the Poles reaching 7 rounds. With the gap down to five from nine, Nathan "NBK" Schmitt grabbed two deagle frags in a 2v2 situation to win G2's first round in the half. In spite of this, VP continued to crawl back melting the gap to just a single round at 14-13. Unfortunately for the Polish team, shox killed three in the bombsite A defence and G2 reached map point. VP were unable to prevent their opponents from stealing the victory in the following round, falling 13:16.

de_Inferno - 16:10 (9:6, 7:4)

The first couple of rounds on Inferno saw no team establishing dominance but as the half grew, VP slowly took the lead. Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's ace in the final round of the half gave G2 a reasonable half-time score of 9:6. In the second half, G2 put on some impressive individual performances but VP were playing better as a whole team and on the back of Pawe? "byali" Bieli?ski's 27 frags, they reached the 16th round when G2 had just 10.

Denmark North vs. Sweden NiP2:0 (16:1, 16:3)

de_Cache - 16:1 (14:1, 2:0)

The freefall of Ninjas looked to be nowhere close to ending as North destroyed them in both maps of this ESL Pro League match-up. The first map started with Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke picking four kills while defending bombsite B. Grabbing quad-kill was a trend in the following rounds as k0nfig, Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen and Philip "aizy" Aistrup all killed four NiP members in back-to-back rounds. In the 8th round, NiP finally won a round but that wasn't enough at all. The remainder of the map went under complete North domination as the Danish side grabbed the victory by giving away just a single round.

de_Cobblestone - 16:3 (12:3, 4:0)

Cobblestone, just like the previous map, Cache, started with North picking up the victory in the pistol round. This time around, NiP won three rounds in the first half but apart from William "draken" Sundin, Swedish players were looking hopeless to find a solution against North. In the same fashion as in Cache, North dominated the map and crushed NiP with the 16:3 score.

Denmark Astralis vs. Sweden Fnatic1:1 (16:6, 14:16)

de_Inferno - 16:6 (9:6, 7:0)

Fnatic, the most likely team to break into top-6, faced Astralis in the 9th week of ESL Pro League. The Swedes were desperate for a win but it was Astralis who picked up the first pistol round. The Danes successfully won the following two rounds but Jesper "JW" Wecksell's ace in the fourth round started Fnatic's run of round victories. The Swedish side even took the lead but Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's frags in a 2v2 situation in the tenth round evened things at 5:5. Starting from the mentioned round, Astralis controlled the game and lost but a single round in the remainder of the map as they picked up the victory at 16:6.

de_Train - 14:16 (6:9, 8:7)

Fnatic opened up the map by winning the pistol round as the CT side and using the early advantage built a healthy lead of 5:0 early on. But Astralis fired back and melted the gap to three rounds at the half-time. After an intense second half, the teams went on to play all 30 rounds of the regular time but despite Nicolai "device" Reedtz' efforts, Fnatic stole the victory 16:14.

Europe mousesports vs. CIS Na'Vi - 2:0 (16:8, 16:0)

de_Nuke - 16:8 (9:6, 7:2)

Two teams with comfortable positions battled in the 9th week of ESL Pro League and mousesports, at least in the second map, humiliated Na'Vi. Nuke started with early mousesports lead but thanks to Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's impressive showing, Na'Vi never let the European mixture feel confident. Going into the final round of the first half, mousesports had a two-round lead over Na'Vi and Tomáš "oskar" Š?astný's triple-kill in the round determined the half-time score, 9:6. Opposite of the first half, mousesports established a total domination once switched to the CT side and won seven out of nine rounds played in the second half to close out the map 16-8.

de_Mirage - 16:0 (15:0, 1:0)

Mirage ended as quickly as possible as mousesports crushed Na'Vi with a 16-0 score line. Denis "seized" Kostin and Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev could grab only six frags combined in 16 rounds while the least fragging member of mousesports, Christian "loWel" Garcia Antoran finished the map with 14 kills.

France EnVyUs vs. Sweden NiP - 1:1 (16:13, 13:16)

de_Cache - 16:13 (9:6, 7:7)

The 9th week of ESL Pro League concluded with a close series between EnVyUs and NiP. Both teams had to win at least a map in order to gain advantage in the relegation battle and the draw gave them just what they wanted. NiP started the first map, Cache, as Terrorists and jumped five rounds ahead all of a sudden. EnVyUs responded by winning five rounds in a row to tie the score at 5:5. The following two rounds saw Christophe "SIXER" Xia and ScreaM grabbing four frags in back-to-back rounds and EnVyUs, despite starting the map 5 rounds behind, found themselves leading 7:5. The remaining three rounds of the half were split between the teams with EnVyUs winning two of them to lead 9:6 at the halftime. Xms' triple-kill in the second pistol round gave EnVyUs a 10:6 lead as the T side. Building off of their economic advantage, the French-Belgian roster reached the map point at 15:8 but NiP launched an attempt for a comeback and won five rounds in a row to make it 15:13. Unfortunately for the Swedes, EnVyUs found the needed victory in the 29th round and secured the victory with a 16:13 score line.

de_Inferno - 13:16 (10:5, 3:11)

Richard "Xizt" Landström's triple-kill opened the map with NiP's pistol round victory but the Swedes lost to EnVyUs' force-buy in the following round. The first ten rounds of the map ended with 6:4 EnVyUs victory, in the 11th round, draken sniped down three and made the score 6:5. Happy and co. stopped NiP at five rounds in the remaining portion of the half, advancing their lead round by round to enter the halftime 10:5 ahead. EnVyUs won the second pistol round but in the following round draken beat ScreaM in a 1v1 situation to complete his 1v3 clutch and reset the French economy. After draken's clutch, Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and Xizt joined his efforts for a comeback and by winning ten of the following twelve rounds, the Ninjas won the map 16-13.
