Tuesday, April 25th

Europe FaZe Clan vs. Poland Virtus.pro - 2-0 (16:4, 16:10)

de_Train - 16:4 (13:2, 3:2)

The European mix of FaZe Clan were able to close out one of the Poles' strongest maps in brief fashion, as Virtus.pro's disappointing string of online performances continues. The initial half saw FaZe secure the pistol and subsequently snowball rounds with overwhelming success. All the Poles were able to put together where two consecutive rounds, post-which the European mix continued their domination to conclude the initial half at 13:2. In an attempt to get back into the game Virtus.pro secure the pistol round post-plant on their CT side, however a successful buy from FaZe meant a blow to their economy, as well as the loss of the following two rounds. The Poles manage to secure a defuse in round four of the latter half, however FaZe close out in round five at a brisk 16:4.

de_Inferno - 16:10 (6:9, 10:1)

A lot more fight was seen from the bears on Inferno, however the outcome was all the same. Starting on the CT side, FaZe are able to secure the initial three rounds, leading early at 3:0. Virtus.pro retaliated on their first gun round and the follow up, closing the round gap to one at 2:3. Efforts were made by the European mix, however the plow engaged and started accruing rounds. With only three additional rounds to their name in the initial half, FaZe concede the first at 6:9. The offense proved to be a vastly different story for FaZe Clan, as the team shows utter domination. Round after round fell in the pocket of the team, with but a single loss in a post-plant situation on round 23. Another stunning performance from the mix, as the team secures a flawless 2-0, closing out on a 16:10 note.

Denmark Astralis vs. Sweden GODSENT - 2-0 (16:5, 16:9)

de_Overpass - 16:5 (10:5, 6:0)

A fairly shaky start seen from Astralis, as the team concede the first pistol round to the Swedes. Unable to pose a threat in the following two, a further two fall in favour of GODSENT's T side to produce an early 3:0 lead. The first gun round proved to be pivotal for the Danes, as the team seemed to initiate momentum, exponentially gaining more. Six consecutive rounds are ensured, followed by a 2-1 round exchange in favour of GODSENT, the two rounds proved to be all she wrote for the Swedes in the first half, as Astralis hit half time at a 10:5 lead. On the T side, Astralis absolutely dominate the opposition, able to systematically dispatch the Swedes. Six consecutive rounds to their name lead to an early finish by Astralis at 16:5.

de_Mirage - 16:9 (12:3, 4:6)

A strong start from Astralis was see on the T side, where the team managed to secure the pistol, two additional rounds following suit. GODSENT are able to get a W on their gun round, unfortunately for the Swedes it'd be one of only three, as the Danes tear apart their opponents nine rounds in a row to accrue a 12:1 lead. GODSENT are able to claw the last two rounds of the initial half to decrease the deficit to 3:12. Having switched to the T side the Swedes seemed more comfortable, able to secure the pistol and develop the following four rounds in their favour. Astralis followed this up with a post-plant victory plus one, conceding round 23 and slamming the last two to produce a decent 16:9 score against GODSENT.

Wednesday, April 26th

Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. Europe FaZe Clan - 0-2 (13:16, 1:16)

de_Nuke - 13:16 (9:6, 4:10)

The Ninjas kicked off on the CT side of Nuke, securing the pistol round and the two in a follow up. Come first gun round, FaZe step up and start raking in a few of their own, concluding in five consecutive victories to produce a 5:3 lead on the T side. The teams exchange a round each and immediately after NiP continue landing rounds, closing out the half with a five round win streak at 9:6. Having switched over to the CT side, FaZe feel noticeably more comfortable. The pistol was secured by the European mix, as well as a three round follow up, including the opponents'  first gun round. NiP retaliated on four occasions in the latter half, however a final push of four consecutive rounds allowed FaZe to come back from a 12:13 deficit, instead winning the map at 16:13.

de_Inferno - 1:16 (1:14, 0:2)

An astonishingly poor display is seen from the Ninjas in Pyjamas on de_Inferno. The Swedes kicked off on the T side of the map, consistently unable to pose any threat to the defence. Round after round fell in favour of FaZe, so much so that the team managed to accrue an inconceivable 14:1 lead before switching. The latter half more of the prior, as FaZe close out by winning the pistol and the following round at 16:1.

France Team EnVyUs vs. Sweden GODSENT - 1-1 (16:11, 11:16)

de_Train - 16:11 (6:9, 10:2)

Team EnVyUs kick off the map with a slow start, initially grabbing the pistol, however shortly after losing the momentum to a force buy from GODSENT. The Swedes managed to run away with two more round after, extending their lead to 3:1. Attempts were made by EnVyUs to pull the team back into the match and whilst a valiant effort, GODSENT kept pummelling, securing another triple round string. Unhappy with the direction of the score the Frenchmen focus and produce four rounds of their own in the latter portion of the half, that unfortunately for them was met with yet another three consecutive rounds from the Swedes, culminating in a 9:6 surplus for GODSENT's CT side. The post-halftime performance was spectacular from EnVyUs' CT side, as the team kick off with a strong start, securing the pistol round followed by an additional four. GODSENT retaliated with two of their own, equalising at 11:11, but further developments were simply not seen from the Swedes, as EnVyUs rush five consecutive rounds to cut the cards at 16:11.

de_Cache - 11:16 (4:11, 7:5)

The final map of week two saw GODSENT equalise the map score against EnVyUs. The Swedes started off on the T side, where they were able to demonstrate a strong showing. All rounds prior to the Frenchmen's gun round were secured at 3:0, however when fully equipped, EnVyUs managed to stick it to the man. This rebellious behaviour was quieted, as the Swedes continue systematically dismantling the defence by securing a further three rounds. Back and forth motion continued between the teams in the later section of the half, concluding with a commanding 11:4 surplus for GODSENT. After switching sides EnVyUs show a great aggressive side, able to come back from a second round upset by the Swedes. Five consecutive rounds are accrued off the back of an economic reset on GODSENT; however the opponents retaliated by grabbing a quick three rounds to produce map point at 15:10. After this point only two more rounds were seen, as the teams go blow for blow, the only difference being the lethal nature of the Swedes' blow at 16:11.
