Chris "emagine" Rowlands departs from Winterfox

Chris "emagine" Rowlands has announced his departure from the starting roster of Winterfox.

Following a stint of disappointing results, Chris "emagine" Rowlands have opted to leave the starting roster of Winterfox. Over the course of quite a while now, the Oceanic mix has been severely struggling to produce results of value. In addition to this, despite the team being part of the coveted ESL Pro League Season 5, the roster was unable to perform in an optimal setting, as its entirety was stuck in the Oceanic region instead of their gaming house in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, therefore being forced to play with a severe ping disadvantage. Needless to say miracles were not seen and the team sustain yet another disappointing result with a 2-18 win/loss record.

In a comment to HLTV.org, Rowlands expressed the following:

After exploring my options I have decided to leave Winterfox. It became apparent the dynamics in the team were clearly not conducive to our success. I wish my former teammates good luck in the future.

I would also like to thank Brian (Owner of Winterfox) for the opportunity and support during our time with the organization.

For now I will be weighing my options, interested parties can reach me at [email protected]

Following the departure of emagine, Winterfox are left with the following four members:

Australia Chris "Ofnu" Hanley
Australia Ryan "Zewsy" Palmer
Australia Razmik "RaZ" Bastadjan
New Zealand Mike "Moku" Aliferis
