ESL One Cologne 2017 - Fnatic confirmed to participate

The fourth invited team for ESL One: Cologne 2017 has been revealed, Swedish giants fnatic will be present in Cologne.

A classical Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event set to return for its 2017 edition in July. But this year, after three years of hosting Valve majors, ESL One: Cologne lost its major status to PGL's Kraków Major. Despite the obstacle of being held a single week before Kraków Major, LANXESS Arena is preaparing to witness elite teams clashing as Virtus.pro, SK and FaZe already confirmed for the event.

Despite of ELEAGUE Major major champions, Astralis, missing the event, with fnatic revealed as the fourth confirmed team, ESL One: Cologne 2017 is already building hype. Currently, all known for the prestigious event are the first four invited teams and the play-off dates, July 7th-9th. Eight more teams will receive invites with four sides joining them through the qualifiers, totaling the attending team number to 16.

ESL Pro League Season 5 Finals, ECS Season 3 Finals and IEM Sydney 2017 will take place prior to ESL One: Cologne 2017, making it the last big event before the major and the last chance for teams to fix their problems. Surely, this year's iteration will be a great chance to see the pre-major status of the elite-level Counter-Strike teams.

As of now, these four teams are confirmed for ESL One: Cologne 2017:
