2017 Subaru Invitational announcement

Subaru announce the 2017 Subaru Invitational, a $20,000 North American invite-only tournament.

Subaru have announced a $20,000 prize pool tournament that will be hosted exclusively for teams from the North American region. Eight invited teams will participate at the event that will be taking place on May 13th-14th, featuring a single elimination, best-of-three format. All matches taking place during May 13th will be streamed on the Subaru Invitational Twitch.tv channel.

According to the announcement, the main goal behind the organisation of the tournament is to engage the millennial demographic and promote the newest edition of the Subaru Impreza.
