Ninjas in Pyjamas finalise cs_summit participants line-up

Ninjas in Pyjamas round out the list of teams to receive invites to Beyond the Summit's cs_summit event.

The Swedish roster of Ninjas in Pyjamas finalises the list of teams to receive invites to cs_summit, an event hosted by popular Dota 2 tournament organisers, Beyond the Summit. The $100,000 event will be taking place this April 19th-23rd in Los Angeles, California. Eight teams from across the world will visit the BTS mansion to prove their capabilities as players, all the while relaxing from the usual setting of stadiums, immense pressure and massive crowds.

Following is the finalised list of teams to participate the first iteration of cs_summit:

With the tournament just a month away, we'll take a look at the Swedes' performance in the recent (and not so) months. In November 2016 the team participated at two events - the ECS Season 2 Europe and ELEAGUE Season 2 LAN finals. The prior saw an 8th place finish for NiP, just about hanging on to their spot in the league's next season, with a similar result to be seen at the ELEAGUE Season 2 finals, where the team secured 5th-8th placements, along with a nice $50,000 prize. Closing out 2016, NiP participated at the ELEAGUE Major offline qualifier, where unfortunately the team fell short to Vega Squadron on a 2-16 note, knocking the Swedes out of the race for a potential major title. The streak of 5th-8th places continued in 2017, with the Ninjas falling to Astralis in the quarter-finals of DreamHack Masters: Las Vegas 2017. Finally, the most recent result  was a 9th-10th placement at IEM Katowice 2017, where a group stage exit was seen.
