Selfless have announced Matthew "no_one" Congdon decided to take a break from competition, substitute player Christopher "cJ" Jones will take his place.

Matthew "no_one" Congdon has been a part of Selfless since last August. With Congdon, Sefless found success at the WESG 2016 Americas Finals, but failed to impress in China at World Finals. Despite attending several LAN events, Sefless' sole top place finish remains with the regional finals for WESG 2016.

Regarding the departure of Congdon, Selfless owner Steve "Ryu" Rattacasa released a statement where he thanks Congdon for his hardwork and dedication:

Following our relegation matches, Matt indicated the desire to take a break from competition, and we feel this is best for all involved. We'd like to thank Matt for all his hard work and dedication, for being a great teammate, and for providing us with endless laughs and Smarties candy.

The organisation has also announced the player to replace Congdon. The North American team's backup player Christopher "cJ" Jones has been brought to the active roster. Sefless are currently competing in the ESL Pro League Season 5 NA Division, where they have secured but one win over the course of six games. Apart from ESL Pro League, Selfless finished their group in StarLadder i-League Season 3 NA Qualifiers and are still in competition for the main event.

With this change, Selfless' lineup consists of:

United States Alec "Slemmy" White
United States Noah "Nifty" Francis
United States Jake "kaboose" McDonald
Canada Terry "dsr" Rioux
United States Christopher "cJ" Jones
