Astralis breeze past Ninjas in Pyjamas with a 2-0 map score to secure the third semi-finals slot at DreamHack Masters: Las Vegas 2017.
Astralis emphasised their abilities once again, this time dethroning Champions' title holders of DreamHack Masters, Ninjas in Pyjamas. The team was able to make quick work of the Swedes, only allowing them single round digits on both maps of the series.

de_Inferno - (12:3, 4:3) 16:6
Major title holders Astralis kicked off on the CT side of de_Inferno, where they demonstrated nothing short of a convincing performance. Having secured the pistol round, along with a further five rounds, they were consistently able to fend off the Swedish aggression, leading to a gigantic round surplus nearing the end of the first half. Ninjas in Pyjamas seemed completely lost on the T side of the new iteration of de_Inferno, conceding a grand total of 12 rounds to their 3 by the end of the initial half. The second half showed how detrimental such a deficit can be, as Astralis were able to perform up to par on the T side as well, grabbing the remaining four rounds to NiP's three, concluding the map at a 16:6 score line.
de_Mirage - (12:3, 4:4) 16:7
Astralis continued their domination on the CT side of de_Mirage, as the team mirrored the first map's initial half score. NiP seemed lost on the T side, rarely being able to come up with answers as to how to penetrate the defence. On many occasions the Swedish economy was reset and consequently ruined, allowing for easy rounds to be harvested by Astralis. The Danes developed a strong lead, landing another 12:3 first half.
Astralis proceed to smash NiP in the second, grabbing the pistol round, followed by an additional round. The Ninjas anti-eco'd successfully, landing them a fourth round, bringing the team closer to contention on the map. Unfortunately in the end the Swedes fell to the deficit from the initial half. It was far too extensive to deal with and it seems the pressure got to the team. Astralis cut the cards at 16:7, securing their placement in the semi-finals of DreamHack Masters: Las Vegas 2017.
