SK Gaming have officially announced the addition of Joao “felps” Vasconcellos to their roster. In felps’ place, Immortals have signed Lincoln “fnx” Fau to round out their lineup.
The addition of felps has been rumoured for some time now, ever since SK and fnx parted ways in early December, citing internal issues. SK had been using Ricardo “fox” Pacheco as a stand-in while the team worked to solidify a deal with felps, and assisted the team at the ECS Season 2 Finals, as well as the ELEAGUE Major in Atlanta.
SK Gaming noted that felps has already moved in with the rest of the team at their gaming house in California, where they will work to create synergy amongst the new line-up as DreamHack Masters Las Vegas approaches in the coming weeks.
SK Gaming’s new line-up, which will debut at DreamHack Masters in Las Vegas, will be:
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
Marcelo "coldzera" David
Epitacio "TACO" de Melo
Joao "felps" Vasconcellos
Immortals, who recently qualified for IEM Katowice 2017 by defeating Team Liquid 2-0 on Cobblestone and Cache, in the North American Closed Qualifier, will compete with the following roster moving forward:
Ricardo "boltz" Prass
Henrique "hen1" Teles
Lucas "Lucas" Teles
Lucas "Steel-" Lopes
Lincoln "fnx" Lau
