ESL ANZ Championship 2017 details

ESL have revealed the final details of their premier Australian and New Zealand CS:GO league for 2017.

The most popular ANZ CS:GO league is back following today's official announcement by ESL of the 2017 edition of their ANZ Championships. Last season saw Athletico BH taking the title over Parallax, however neither of these two teams will be returning this time around due to the fact the two are currently competing in the ZEN tournament, which excludes them from participation.

The main portion of the Championships will consist of online play in the round-robin stage, where the eight teams will play one another during bi-weekly matches. The top teams after the conclusion of the seven-week section will advance to the LAN finals, where a $10,000 AUD prize pool will be up to fight for.

As of now, six invited teams for the ANZ Championships have been announced, with the final two to be determined through a closed qualifier which will be held later in the month. The current team line-up is:
