Prominent European teams FaZe Clan and North have received direct invites to Intel Extreme Masters: Katowice 2017.
FaZe Clan and North join the list of direct invitees to the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship: Katowice 2017, after the organiser had posted an announcement on Twitter. The Danish and European representatives will be joining fellow top teams from the professional CS:GO scene in early March, in a bid determine the sole team to bear the Champions' title.
As per previous iterations, IEM Katowice 2017 will be held at the familiar Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland. Twelve teams from across the world will be fighting for the largest slice of the sizeable $250,000 prize pool. Matches will be taking place March 1st through 5th, with detailed scheduling and formatting to be announced at a later date.
With FaZe Clan and North joining the list of participants, the list is rounded with the following:
