Skylla XMAS Charity Cup announced

Grassroots tournament organisers Skylla have announced a €1,000 XMAS Charity Cup.

Skylla have announced a €1,000 prize pool XMAS Charity Cup scheduled for the upcoming weekend, 17th-18th December. The goal of the cup is to raise money for Save the Children whilst supporting diversity and inclusivity in professional CS:GO. The charity cup will be streamed on Skylla's Twitch.tv channel and will be presented by community casters. In addition to community casters there is the opportunity to cast matches in a different language, for those interested feel free to email [email protected].

Regarding the format and eligibility, the matches taking place will be 5 vs. 5 double elimination, best-of-one. Maps will be selected from the current competitive map pool (de_Dust2, de_Cache, de_Overpass, de_Cobblestone, de_Nuke, de_Mirage and de_Train). Only mix-gender teams are eligible for participation, where at least one male or one female member in the roster. Teams interested in signing up for the charity cup may do so by follow this link.

The €1,000 prize pool will be distributed in halves amongst the top two teams of the tournament. Teams are given free choice regarding how much and whether or not they would like to donate their winnings to the charity. All donations received during the stream will be directly sent to Save the Children.
