The prominent CIS tournament organiser will be taking charge of the ELEAGUE Major precursor, the CIS Minor.
StarLadder have announced that they will be organising the CIS Minor tournament, one of the regional qualifiers for the earlier announced ELEAGUE Major 2017. The tournament will consist of online open and closed qualifiers, followed by the LAN finals held in Saint Petersburg, Russia at the Saint Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex. Teams that are fortunate enough to make it to said finals have the chance of securing part of the $50,000 prize pool, as well as the top two teams acquiring two tickets to the ELEAGUE Major 2017 offline qualifiers.
Prize pool breakdown:
1st place - $30,000 + Ticket to ELEAGUE Major 2017 offline qualifier
2nd place - $15,000 + Ticket to ELEAGUE Major 2017 offline qualifier
3rd place - $5,000
Teams that are interested in registering for the open qualifier may do so by following this link. Remember, only teams with three representatives from the same country are eligible for registration, following are the eligible countries:
