The Chinese took home the win over Renegades as well as $40,000.

The eXTREMESLAND Zowie Asia CS:GO tournament ended today on a bit of a high note. The final match was the home team VG.CyberZen versus the Australian Renegades. Renegades pick Train, CyberZen picked Dust2, and Cobblestone was the random map picked.

Renegades were off to a good start on Train and a series of good round from them along with a smoke defuse by Yaman "yam" Ergenekon brought that map to a close 16-13 in favour of Renegades.

Despite a loss on Train, CyberZen regained steam on Dust2 and brought the game to a once more very close 8-7 lead in the first half. Renegades brought it back somewhat in the second half but a combination of bad economic decisions forced them into a double eco situation on multiple occasions, allowing CyberZen to win the second map 16-12.

CyberZen once more had a good start on Cobblestone, bringing the third map to a 10-5 lead in the first half. Renegades closed the gap somewhat with an 11-8 score, but it wasn't enough and the Chinese won the third map as well as the $40,000 first place prize of the tournament with a 16-11 score.
