ELEAGUE have announced the four groups for the Season 2 LAN Finals.
Four groups for the most anticipated CS:GO tournament of the remainder of the year have been announced by its organisers, ELEAGUE. Sixteen teams from Europe and North America will collide in Atlanta, Georgia, USA at the Turner Studios in a bid to secure a slice of the astonishing $1,100,000 prize pool. In terms of format for the event, we will see a double-elimination best-of-one group stage, followed by best-of-three, single-elimination playoffs. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
Formatting for the event will see a GSL group stage with a total of four teams of four, where the top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs. Playoffs will be single-elimination best-of-three.
The preliminary schedule for the event has been also been announced:
Group A - October 21st-22nd (Friday/Saturday)
Group B - November 4th-5th (Friday/Saturday)
Group C - November 11th-12th (Friday/Saturday)
Group D - November 18th-19th (Friday/Saturday)
