NiP release Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun back to his current team, Epsilon Esports, and pick up former NiP star Maikel ”Maikelele” Bill to subtitute Jacob  "pyth" Mourujärvi going forward.

Pyth has been struggling with chronic pain and immobility in his right hand for the past few months and NiP made the decision to begin ESL Pro League Season 4 with a substitute after Pyth did not recover after a team-wide two week break. Out of respect to his team, NiP decided to return Pyth’s original substitute, disco doplan, to Epsilon and to replace him with the former ninja Maikelele.

NiP released the following statement concerning their newest roster changes:

We have over the last two weeks had a hand injury on our Ninja Jacob  "pyth" Mourujärvi, which has resulted in Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun playing with our CS:GO team as a stand-in. Pyth has made good recovery progress over the last 14 days, but has still not recovered fully from this injury and a stand-in is still required. It has been a great pleasure having disco doplan playing with us and we are satisfied with his results. As this is not a permanent opportunity for Joakim, we do not want to hold him back from evolving in his own team, Epsilon Esports. This means we are saying goodbye for this time and we are truly grateful for his contribution during his 14 days playing ESL Pro League with us. We would also like to thank Epsilon Esports for allowing us to use him during this time.

Maikelele will assist NiP in the ongoing ESL Pro League and will also bootcamp with the team for the StarLadder LAN event in Kiev taking place from September 7-11.
