Space Soldiers win spot at WESG Global Finals

The Turkish CS:GO team overcome DarkPassage to win spot at the WESG Global Finals?.

Yesterday at the group stage of the WESG Africa and Middle East regional finals in Dubai, eight teams fought for their share for $75,000 as well as three sports at the Global Finals taking place in December in China.

The Turkish Space Soldiers had Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli standing in for Tugay "TuGuX" Keskin and managed to beat the teams in Group A  with ease, dropping 16 rounds over a total of three maps, leaving the Jordanian c5 to take second place. 

In the semifinals, the Turks faced the second Turkish team in the tourney, DarkPassage, a team with significantly less experience than them, where they met some challenge yet still won the match 2-1 and managed to secure one of the spots at the Global Finals in China. 

The Turkish team is knowing for placing first at events like the first Operation Kinguin back in December of last year, as well as the CS:GO Champions League Season 3 and ASUS ROG Summer 2016 where they beat EPSILON eSports 2-0.
