ELEAGUE Season 2 schedule announcement

ELEAGUE have released the schedule for the upcoming Season 2, the grand finals of which will be taking place in December 2016.

ELEAGUE Season 1 proved to be a great success, where we saw a ten week skirmish boil down to an amazing grand final, where Virtus.Pro managed to take down Fnatic in a thrilling grand final with a 2:0 map score. The Polish roster secured a whopping $400,000 in prize money, as well as the prestigious Champions' title of the first season. 

In recent news, the second season of ELEAGUE is nigh, kicking off in early September. Teams from across the globe will face each other over fourth months to decide the finest teams worthy of participating at the LAN finals of this grandiose event. Below you will find a comprehensive outline of the schedule for ELEAGUE Season 2:

Preliminary Rounds - Sixteen teams per region, single elimination. Top four from each region to group stage.

Prior to the European preliminaries there will be an open qualifier hosted on September 3rd through 5th where top teams will be able to secure a slot at the preliminary rounds. Follow this link for registration.

  • European - September 7th-8th


An identical open qualifier will be held for the American region on September 10th-12th, with top teams qualifying for the preliminary rounds. Follow this link for registration.

  • American - September 14th-15th


Group Stages - Four groups of four, double elimination. Top two from each group to playoffs.

  • Group A - October 21st-22nd
  • Group B - November 4th-5th
  • Group C - November 11th-12th
  • Group D - November 18th-19th


Playoffs - Eight teams, single elimination.

  • Quarter-finals - November 29th-30th
  • Semi-finals - December 2nd
  • Grand Finals - December 3rd
