LDLC picks up mistou and xms from the ex-Millenium roster after dropping matHEND and BouLy?.
The French team LDLC, have announced their acquisition of Valentin "mistou" Balbastro and Alexandre "xms" Forte, two days after Millenium released them from the roster. The players had been with Millenium for two months before deciding to head to another team together.
To make room for the two, the team have released Matthieu "matHEND" Roquigny and Charbel "BouLy" Naoum from their roster. Matthieu is taking a break from professional gaming due to a "loss of motivation" while Charbel "didn’t fit the new pace of training, and his level didn’t went up as expected." In a statement on the LDLC website, Matthieu stated that he wanted to "play french LANs with my friends, with no pretention, just to find again the 'fun' in CS."
The loss of motivation could very well be attributed to the team gathering multiple dissapointing results, among which were group stage exits at Operation: Kinguin #3 and Hitbox Challenger Cup #2.
In the same statement Valentin addressed his feelings towards joining LDLC:
LDLC's roster is now as follows:
Kevin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans
Antoine "to1nou" Pirard
Alex "ALEX" McMeeking
Valentin "mistou" Balbastro
Alexandre "xms" Forte
