EchoFox topped the Brazilians 16:4 on Train and 16:13 on Dust2.

EchoFox have found some good form recently qualifying for the ESEA Global Premier Challenge LAN after disappointing performances at the iBUYPOWER Invitational 2016 and in the group stage of ELEAGUE Season 1. This newly found momentum carried into the one-off BO3 match against the Brazilians of Luminosity Gaming for a spot in the ESL Pro League.

The series started on Luminosity’s map pick Train with EchoFox on the CT side. Led by in-game mastermind Sean "seang@res" Gares, the Americans finished the half with a huge 12-3 lead. Echofox managed to quickly close out the first map, taking control of the series both in terms of score and morale. The series continued with Luminosity on the T side of EchoFox’s map pick, Dust2. The Brazilians seemed to be returning the favor to the Americans, taking a 10-5 lead at half. EchoFox put up an impressive T half themselves, and managed to win their map pick 16-13 and the series 2-0.
