Winterfox parts ways with CS: GO squad

David "Xp3" Garrido has announced via Twitter that the squad will no longer play under the Winterfox organisation.?

Garrido, along with Todd "anger" Williams and Alexander "LeX" Deily have been part of Winterfox since it's creation in September 2015. The other two members, Kyle "flowsicK" Mendez and Warren "hades" Rettich were transferred later. According to Garrido's tweet, himself, Williams and Mendez will stick together but the destinations of Deily and Rettich are unknown.

The news of the disbandment came after disappointing results that include a last place at the iBUYPOWER Invitational Summer and a unsuccessful run at the Americas Minor for ESL One Cologne 2016. Despite their poor run of form, Winterfox had a spot at ESL Pro League Season 4 which will kick-off in three days but it's not announced yet whether the spot belongs to the Winterfox organisation or the players.

The following players are going to play together without an organization:

France David "Xp3" Garrido
United States Todd "anger" Williams
United States Kyle "flowsicK" Mendez

The remaining two players are currently free agents:

United States Alexander "LeX" Deily
Canada Warren "hades" Rettich
