Team X claimed the $10,000 grand prize after finally winning the online tournament that started on April 28th and ended on July 31st.
The online tournament started with twenty-four teams that were divided into four groups of six teams. The groups played in a round-robin style with the two two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs. Initially, eight teams were supposed to be invited, but only four ended up being invited so they were seeded directly into the quarterfinals to complete the BO3 single elimination bracket that ended with Team X defeating Team Spirit 2-0.
Team X, which recently left SK Gaming, put up a very strong performance against Team Spirit, winning both Overpass and Mirage 16-8 to claim the first place prize.
