Virtus.Pro claim the largest prize in the history of the organization, $390,000, winning 2-0 against Fnatic in the ELEAGUE Season 1 Finals.

Sweden Fnatic v. Poland Virtus.Pro 9:6, 1:10 (10:16) 5:10, 3:6 (8:16)
Winner: Poland Virtus.Pro 2-0
Maps: de_Cbble, de_Mirage
MVP: Poland Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski

The grandfinal started with Fnatic starting on the T side of their map pick, Cobblestone, and everybody watching got flashbacks from yesterday’s semifinal as Fnatic picked up an early 9-2 lead, including a 2v4 win by Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson and Jesper "JW" Wecksell. The Poles finally stabilized their economy and were able to pick up the last four round of the half leaving the score at 9-6 in favor of Fnatic.

VP picked up the second pistol round with a 3k from veteran Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas and they completely outplayed Fnatic strategically, catching players out of position and selling a great fake to counter Fnatic’s 3-man A site stack. VP kept a stranglehold on Fnatic’s economy and the Swedes were only able to pick up one round their entire CT half, with VP winning the first map of the series 16-10.

Fnatic rebounded strongly after the crushing loss on map 1, picking up the first three rounds of their CT half on Mirage. VP once again were tactically superior and were able to read Fnatic’s setups, prefiring the correct angles and selling elaborate fakes which allowed them to tie up the score 4-4. Despite some stumbles on a few anti-eco rounds, VP climbed all the way up to 9-4 before the Swedes were finally able to pick up one more round before the Poles claimed the final round of the half, 10-5 in favor of VP.

Once again Fnatic picked up the pistol and the second two rounds, but solid eco rounds from VP prevented Fnatic from strengthening their economy. At 10-8, VP took control of the match once again and ran away with the map 16-8, winning the series 2-0, and becoming the champions of ELEAGUE Season 1.
