Na'Vi to drop out of ECS, DH Austin

Natus Vincere has announced that they will be relinquishing their spots in the Esports Championship Series and DH Austin.?

The CIS team has undergone enormous hardship in recent months, with their star AWPer Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács having to sit out several important events due to his wrist injuries, not to mention the fatigue of the constant travel with events often back-to-back.

The pressure seems to have finally caught up with the team, as Natus Vincere has announced that they have withdrawn from FACEIT's ongoing Esports Championship Series, as well as Dreamhack Austin which is slated to kick off at the beginning of May. In the team's official statement, Na'Vi stated they decided to skip the events in order to let the team fully recover before returning to competition. Eugene “ugin” Erofeev, Na'Vi's manager, had the following to say on the matter:

Unfortunately, we have to withdraw from DreamHack Austin 2016 and ECS Season 1. Having weighed all the pros and cons, we came to the conclusion that the team needs to get some rest. We have taken part in many different tournaments – both online and offline – over a short period of time. This and some other factors tired out the guys, and that is why we had to make such a decision.

It's a pity we have to skip these championships, especially the first season of the fantastic league ECS, which will no doubt have a huge impact on the future growth and development of the professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene. As for our team, the players will have some time to rest both physically and mentally, and then will break in again to prove that the Born to Win squad is the strongest team on the CS:GO scene.
