Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev to depart from Team Liquid

The Ukrainian star player has announced that he will not be returning to the United States after his visit home, instead he will be looking for a European organisation to represent.

After recently visiting Ukraine, the star player announced that he will be missing DreamHack: Austin 2016, as well as potentially missing the ESL Pro League finals. Aforementioned issues were apparently due to visa issues, however it has emerged that the situation may have been different.

Robin Nymann , CS:GO Manager and Director of eSports at Team Liquid, explained in a twitlonger post that Oleksandr has been experiencing issues with homesickness ever since he joined the team. Upon returning back to Ukraine he had understood that he would like to spend more time with his closer ones. Alongside this factor, the hot shot player’s in-game role and personality also caused issues with the team atmosphere, leading to a decision whereby the organisation would help him find an organisation to work with in Europe, closer to home. Until the young man is signed by a team he will be representing Team Liquid as a streamer.

Team Liquid's updated roster is as follows:
United States Eric "adreN" Hoag
United States Nick "nitr0" Cannella
United States Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
United States Spencer "Hiko" Martin
United States Kenneth "koosta" Suen
