Copenhagen Games 2016 have brought us interesting matches, as well as some unexpected upsets. HellRaisers were the ones who were able to ultimately set themselves on top of the rest.
The Grand Finals happened between HellRaisers and E-Frag who fought hard on the first map, de_Inferno. As HellRaisers began the match with a first round win, E-Frag countered them with the first gun round to take over the lead. As HR clawed back again they were able to end the half 8-7. Able to transfer their momentum over to the CT side, their opponents E-Frag were now the ones to take initiative and at some point they were able to even out the score line. What followed were back-and-forth rounds that ultimately ended in overtime. No team was willing to give up to that point, but eventually E-Frag had to give in as HellRaisers secured the map with 25-23, after a triple overtime.
Dust2 was the map on which HR finally showed that they were stronger than their opposition, just as much as E-Frag proved they were out of steam. 16-5 was the score line on which HellRaisers secured themselves the CPH Games 2016 win, as well as sweet $17,000 in cash.
