DreamHack Austin 2016 will be the second edition of DreamHack ZOWIE Open and will feature 8 teams who will battle it out for their share of the $100,000. Out of the 8 teams, 6 teams will be invited while 2 of the teams will qualify from the NA qualifier. The event will take place from 6th- 8th May.
The qualifier will have two segments: Open Qualifier and Closed Qualifier.
Open Qualifier:
Any team can sign up for the open qualifier which will take place on 26th March, 12:00 CDT. The matches will be best of one single elimination bracket.

Closed Qualifier:
The top 8 teams from the open qualifiers will move onto the closed qualifier which will take place on 27th March. The matches will be best-of-three single elimination bracket.
The top 2 teams or the winners of the semi-finals will qualify for DreamHack Austin 2016.
