Yesterday marked the conclusion of day 1 at the Acer Predator Masters Season 2 LAN Finals, where mouz, E-frag, HR and F3 advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The first day of the event did not pose any surprises for fans that were watching the matches, as all favourites of the respective matchups proceeded into the semi-finals of the event. All matches over the course of the first day were best-of-threes, however most of them saw only two maps, as the victors took convincing wins over their opponents.

Mediocre performances coming out from both teams, but in the end the Ukrainian team managed to tilt the lead into their favour, as they managed to secure de_train 16:11 and 16:10 on de_cobblestone to CSGL's 16:14 on de_overpass.

Team LDLC White - 2:0, de_Dust2 & de_Cobblestone
A very close series between the two teams, in fact, the first series to see an overtime. de_dust2 saw a very close match with a 21:18 score in favour of mousesports. Following this explosive start to a match was de_cobblestone, that saw a similarly close map, however this one was not pushed into an overtime, instead, the Germans decided it was time to close it out with a 16:13 score.

The Bulgarian representatives showed a stellar performance on both maps, that culminated in them taking away the series against the German underdog. 16:7 on de_cobblestone and 16:8 on de_cache ensured E-frag's presence in the semi-finals of the event.
HellRaisers vs Vexed Gaming - 2:0, de_Inferno & de_Cobblestone
Another close series between the European mix and the Polish roster, as both maps boasted identical scores, demonstrating just how close the matches were. In both scenarios HellRaisers seemed to be able to close the match out, knocking the key to success out of Vexed's hands. 16:14 on both de_inferno and de_cobblestone.
